Could absolutely see this happening. I had a student a couple years ago that got clipped on I-65 when they had pulled over on the shoulder (which was tiny/around UofL) with a flat tire. They were in the process of getting out of the car and some guy hit them. Thankfully they survived.

At first I just thought Schefter was being an out of touch idiot, but the fact that he deleted it without an apology and just turned on this auto-block safety feature instead (never seen it before; a bunch of people have screenshot it) for people who have called him out, says a lot worse about him than the original tweet.

People love trying to trash shefty for doing his job, and doing it better than anyone. Just because he is first, dont mean he is the bad guy. If it wasnt shefty, it was going to be someone else. In todays social media world, news travels fast. Shefty was just doing his job. Idiots need to get over it

It was a shitty tweet and he deleted it. It’s also pretty shitty to continue to bring attention to it and turn this into the story, which is what everyone trying to cancel him are doing.
