I like the idea of a pocket knife. Case or benchmade or something like that.

If responsible enough, a 22 or marlin lever action rifle would be slick.

He no doubt has camping gear and pocket knives already. if you don't know him very well and don't know a great unique gift for him, a gift card is fine. He's a teenager and would much rather buy something himself.

When I got Eagle a family friend gave me a Montblanc pen with a note that read "This is for when you start signing everyone's paychecks."

That's where I am. Family is big into Scouts and camping. He would likely not recognize me on the street if he wasn't with his dad.

Perhaps a nice wallet with an Eagle on it. Eagle Scout is not easy, and I was impressed with all the ones I knew. My son got his Eagle in 2012. Scouting is bigger in rural areas than urban ones. Lot of good skills learned.

All these "men" laughing and calling an Eagle Scout a fig couldn't last one week out in the wilderness. My son being one and seeing what he has accomplished and capable of is amazing. I'd take him over you pussies any day if I was ever stranded.

There really are some insufferable twats around this joint. They're the same ones that will laugh and talk about "Millenials" and "yutes" and about how the country is going to shite due to lack of parenting and personal responsibility. Yet, when someone actually does something productive with their time as a kid/teen they deride it thinking they are funny. As I said, insufferable twats.
