re: Are we Team Elon or Team Trump

Team Elon. One of the few people serious about our debt and the future of the US. Trump is mostly a politicians and doesn't give a shite about the US after he is gone.
That's everywhere dude. Here in Colorado you take your life into your hands every time you drive I-25. Here our problems are with F250 and bigger. Usually white males with those skeleton stickers on the window. Don't have the Nissan Altima problem here.

Wow.

That's a blast from the past. Had my very last class at LSU with him in summer '94. It was a small, 4000 level management class with about ten people in it. He was a pretty laid back dude.

At that event there is a high probability she isn't a real woman. You know, the kind with real girl parts.

I forgot about this. Did this change in late 80s?
Regarding the Chimes, usually when a company branches out I've seen quality suffer. Glad to hear they are still recommended. They didn't seem like the kind of place that would expand.

Thank you for linking that other thread...

Holy Crap. Chimes is still there? Is it at the same spot as it was in the 90's?
Awesome. Will I have a large lady greet me at the counter and say "What you need baby"?
Going to the Vanderbilt game next weekend with my high school aged kids and haven't been in Baton Rouge since graduating in 94. We arrive at MSY at 11am and I'm looking for a good seafood lunch spot somewhere just off the Interstate between the airport and Baton Rouge. My ideal spot would be a hole in the wall with great po boys or LA classics like gumbo, creole or a fried platter.
If you have suggestions, also looking for dinner Friday night and breakfast Saturday morning. We will be staying near the LSU lakes so something nearby would be cool.
Finally, if you have any advice to graciously approach locals and tailgate at the stadium that would be helpful. More than happy to pay or bring liquor. I'd like my kids to get the full LSU game experience. The weather looks awesome so this is going to be fun.
Thank you!

Just to piss people off more about Obamacare. A lot of people don't know this, but the subsidies are based on INCOME and not ASSETS. Sooo, I work with folks in their late 50's and early 60's who have net worths' in $3 to $4MM that get generous subsidies where a couple will have a $50 to $100/mo premium because they can keep their income low by just living on their cash savings.

I, on the other hand, will probably see a premium this year of $1700/mo for my family of four and a deductible of $10,000. My 2024 premium is $1400 with a deductible of $9k.

It infuriates me when I see those commercials celebrating super low health insurance......

I moved to CO straight outta LSU in 94 and now my time here is nearing an end as we look to move to a less populated and less homeless infested area.

My small street of about 20 houses has had about a 1/4 of these turned over to Californians the last 5 years. Some are conservative escaping the CA circus, but not all of them.

The county I am in was very conservative in late 90's and early 2000's. Now our city and county commissioners are 100% democrat. That will tell you something.
This morning listening to sports talk show in Denver area they shared an interesting stat about Mahomes.

Since he has been in the league, he has had the most interceptions reversed due to a penalty. It was something like 17.

I don't know more than that or what the number was for the next quarterback on the list, but if it dropped to something like 5 interceptions reversed, then there might be something to this referee favoritism for Mahomes.

Watching the CBS sign off from CBS? I got a little nostalgic, there were some great games during that time.
