about not getting another game in the CBI to break the record.
detroit-mercy was 14-19, and he felt it was owed to him.
144 games vs petes 82 and couldnt break it
LINK
Also, props to cbi for putting the charade to bed.

At first I didn’t really care about it but I’m glad he didn’t get it now. What a pussy.

This is the same guy who got an extra year already and spent the loss against Youngstown st shooting his team out of it?

The universe via the CBI did us all a favor.

62 more games with a three point line

Even after getting an extra year historically no one else really would have gotten (except his current peers). And not getting into a pay for play tournament with a horrible losing record.
Cheated. No young man, should you have gotten into the CBI, it would’ve been Pistol Pete and college basketball fans everywhere who would’ve been cheated.
What an entitled generations. And I’m only 28. He has a long hard life ahead of him if this is being cheated to him.
ETA: oh my god he’s crying about not even getting into a 4th tier tournament. Good god what a baby.
People didn’t want it to happen because it would’ve been a complete sham. A record earned through a pretty hefty amount of extra qualifiers not afforded to the original record holder. Had their team had even a barely winning record there’d be far fewer complaints.

He’s typical of todays youth. . Doesn’t care that he had all the advantages, just wants everything handed to him

Can't believe that ESPN ran with that puff piece, oh wait yes I can.

He went 0 for 7 from the field with a turnover blowing a lead in their last game with under 4 minutes left lmao. His teammates must be proud

Dude had 5 years to do it.
Imagine getting an entire extra year of college and still whining.

It wasn’t just him whining, his dad was too

Embarrassing interview

Hopefully the NCAA does the right thing and grants this man a 6th and 7th season.

His team finished 14-19, no team who finished less than .500 ever deserves to play in the postseason.
Not to mention the dude played 5 seasons. I can maybe understand the guy having frustration if he finished just short of the record after playing 4 seasons.
