They will end up with a Lanning, Norvell or DeBoar, maybe Traylor. Muschamp DC and Petrino OC. Robinson Dl coach. Upgrade facilities and buy 10 5 stars per year.

Yea, except like creating slush funds at a childrens hospital. You're right about cheating. A&M certainly won't be alone.

That a-hole sitting in federal prison had about as much to do with the LSU Athletic Department as Logan Young did with Bama’s. We all have our rogue boosters doing stupid shite, don’t we?

If Our Lady of the Lake was mad at the Athletic Department and held them responsible, they probably wouldn’t still be a title sponsor of LSU Athletics.

I'm sure every coach wants a raise. Now who actually takes it? A&M will probably hire an up and comer.

A&M has always had these same advantages. After 75 years of underachieving, can it still be considered a sleeping giant? Dead giant? Is it even a giant at all? Starting to think my UT friends are right about them.

Eh the NIL gives us a chance we never had before. Our best run the last century was the last time everyone in the conference were paying players and we could just pay more.

The only thing about A&M that’s unlimited is the amount of money a coach can fleece from them with guaranteed contracts. Their biggest problem is these coaches know how to play the system and are professional at “being professional” to the people who write all the checks.

A&M believes they’re in this top tier of programs, but the truth is they have no tradition of winning, a basic college town and Lame arse traditions everyone cringes at, etc… just fat stacks of cash that keeps attracting professional losers.

If funds are unlimited, please explain why they are going cheap this time

In their defense, “going cheap” just means they’re not going to break the $100M mark to get a guy worse than Kevin Sumlin this time.

Every coach in America dreams of winning a national title at Notre Dame and being fired from Texas AnM.

With NIL

The potential is unlimited

I would be worried about Brian Kelly and LSU getting a win this weekend if I were you.

If the new coach is told who to hire you might as well
keep your list of future coaching canidates.A@M better hire
a coach and LET HIM DO HIS JOB without any interference
from the powers that be or you will be back here in 4 years.

100% agreed. Need a strong coach that will stand up to the boosters and build his program.

With Texas joining the SEC it became a lot less appealing.

Because y’all were little brother for 60 years in the Big8 and Big12, why would SEC be any different?
