A&M was a small all military school 75 years ago. We didn’t allow women until 1963 and the Corps was a requirement until 1965. Y’all need to realize A&M did not have anywhere near the advantages we have now for the vast majority of the schools existence.

Behind the scenes there are a boatload of coaches that would love the job.

With NIL

The potential is unlimited

I hear what you are saying and on paper you are correct, however if this is the case then why hasn't it happened for them??

They have never won anything... ever. They have not even caught lightning in a bottle and done it one time.

What honestly makes people think it will be any different?

We did win in 1939. We've been close a few others. The fact is that A&M didn't really come into its own until recently.

Facilities - check. Just built a 100M indoor field to add to the little football village
NIL - check, check, check. Everybody here accuses us of buying our team

Coaching - needed. Just gave out a 70M parachute for a change at the top. Also a plus to coaches out there. A&M gave Fisher EVERYTHING, but he didn't deliver

To be fair, Ole Miss isnt the premier SEC school in Mississippi and yall still hired Kiffin. That alone proves anything is possible for the rest of us

I roll a die 100x and it doesn't land one 6 once. What are the odds it lands on 6 next roll? It's still 16.67%. The die won't land on 6 because it hasn't before. And the die isn't "due" to land on 6.

If you consider the prerequisites to win a title being:
-Be in a power 5
-Have fan support of X regularly
-Have X% bluechip ratio
-Pay coordinators X amount
-etc (whatever you think they are)

And A&M has all of them, then what is preventing A&M from winning one?

UCLA has had "potential" for decades now

UCLA doesn't come CLOSE to A&M in terms of funding and support. UCLA doesn't give a frick about football. It is the only thing A&M cares about.

A&M is a great job. Let's hope they frick up the hire again.

It must suck being a fan knowing you will never win National Championship

Or any game of any importance

And your biggest concern is hoping you don’t lose your HC

That made you semi successful

Hula Baloo

They beat USC in the Cotton and have shown they can win all the games on their schedule. If Pratt had been healthy against Ole Miss, they likely wouldve beaten them. This post screams insecurity Tulane has a chance to make the playoffs next year and has built their program up the past few years. I wouldn't look down your nose too hard at the greenies.

Great question... And that is my argument. You can have all the resources in the world but if it hasn't ever happened then why do people continue to think it is going to happen?

Because that is how life works. Things happen for the first time or first time in a long time all the time.

Did OP cross post this to the tiger rant? The tards are out in full.

LSU didn't win shite from 1958 (a claimed title) to 2003, when, guess what, in 2000 they hired a new coach named Nick Saban. A coach whom used existing infrastructure to great success, winning a title.

A Coach.

Rolled the dice and lost in 1969 when they had a chance to play for the NC. ND pulled a fast one and chose to play in bowl game. They hadn't done that in a long time.
