This is the coaching change board, not Facebook.

Your random thoughts belong on Facebook not here

And to think Tulane fans thought they could win a National Championship under any format

Is hysterical

Behind the scenes there are a boatload of coaches that would love the job. With NIL The potential is unlimited

It’s approaching 100 years and people have been saying the same thing.

Yet the results never change.

NIL changes a lot of things

Jimbo got the best class in the country

And Saban has been crying about it ever since

And let’s see how many of that class are still on College Station 2 years later. We know several left after 1 year.

And change the team logo next to your name.

Not sure there a bigger aTm fan in this site

Correct

And I hope LSU can get a couple of them

That’s why they fired Jimbo

The right coach can be very successful at A&M

National Championship successful

A&M is the 7 or 8th best job in the SEC after conference realignment

How about arguing which of the Big Six + Texas + OU you'd put behind A&M and why?

Maybe Tennessee? Maybe Auburn?

We have been hearing how great A&M is going back to the SWC for decades.

1. Alabama

3. Georgia
4. Oklahoma
5. LSU
6. Florida
7. Auburn
8. A&M
9. Tennessee
10. Can swap multiple teams here.

Strong Argument for Both Auburn & Tennessee being ranked ahead of A&M but recruiting Texas HS talent >>> recruiting Tennessee HS talent.

That is a ridiculous list

Are you referring to jobs that would open up now?

That’s what I’m referring to

1) Georgia (too much talent in state)

2) LSU (anybody can win a National Championship as HC)
Without massive cheating

3) Texas A&M (money and boosters are not as big of assholes as Texas)
They let Jimbo hang around for awhile.

4) Florida (so much in state talent) even with Florida State, Miami will suck for a long time

5) bama , nobody will ever come close to what Saban did,
With his #1 cheating process
That just went away
The next guy will just collect a pay check for three years
And so on….

6) Auburn because they have done it before
(With bama cheating their asses off)

7) Oklahoma has never won anything of significance since the AP poll

8)
I hope Tennessee continues to improve
It’s good for college football

You ain’t lying… A&M is the school that just paid $75 million to a guy to do nothing.

If I was a coach I’d be loving the opportunity to get in on some of that too.

I just did

What is your argument

And explain why

For every program

I’ll hang up and listen

1. Alabama - Blue Blood, most national champs, the premier job of college football.
2. Texas - Blue Blood, rich in history, the most recognizable brand and logo in college football, unlimited money from donors, Texas fertile recruiting ground.
3. Georgia- New Money not officially a blue blood but has history of winning conference titles with multiple coaches, sits in a fertile recruiting state, the premier program at the moment, spends the most on recruiting.
4. Oklahoma- One of the few blue bloods that has remained relevant decade to decade, only like 12 losing seasons in whole history that’s filled with multiple National championships, conference titles, and playoff appearances.
5. LSU- Like Georgia New Money, outside of Nic Saban Alabama dynasty nobody has more national championship this millennium won by the last 3 head coaches. The flagship
University of a state that produces the most NFL players per capita.
6. Florida - 2 national championship this millennium, 3 in the last 30 years with multiple heisman winners, in the best recruiting state. 8 SEC titles between spurrier and urbs, mutiple conference title game appearances made by Jim Mcelwain.
7. Auburn -2 undefeated seasons since 2000, 2 national title game appearances, 1 title, 3 conference titles since 2000, 4 trips to Atlanta since 2000.
8. Texas A&M. Has mega money (we heard) , top notch facilities, in one of the top recruiting states in the country, 1 heisman winner since joining the SEC, hasn’t made it Atlanta since joining the SEC, hasn’t won a conference title since bill Clinton was in office, 16 more years it’ll be 100 years since their last national championship. But they have money. Has to compete with Texas, Oklahoma and LSU for recruits.
9. Tennessee incredible history, passionate fan base, a natty in 98, conference champ appearance in 2001, 2004, 2007, rich donors like A&M, Haslam & Dish network, needs to recruit nationally because Tennessee doesn’t usually produce blue chips recruits. The rise of the Nashville metro area looks like that’s changing. Should honestly be ranked ahead of A&M.
