In this case it might actually be true. 6 CFP appearances, 4 championship game appearances, and 2 titles. I can’t think of another lateral move that’s really comparable. Certainly not in my lifetime, anyway.
Which is also why I think it’s probably bullshite.

That’s what doesn’t make sense, even if Dabo did go to OU, people assume Venables is going with him. Who’s to say Clemson doesn’t hire him, as their HC.
