Napier update from the Florida side

If Florida gets Napier quickly, then LSU has had its guy for a while which is good news. No reason to contact Billy unless your first couple choices fall thru.

Would caution heavily on believing anything from Florida’s 247 reporters. They aren’t really tied into the program as far as having great sources.

Have heard the same thing. LSU didn’t flinch, and Napier is headed to Gainesville.

Agree, although the reporter crawfished on Napier’s preference of the jobs he did allude to Woody growing up in the “Louisiana culture” of thumbing their nose at everything ULL as the reason for not offering.
Woody won’t succumb to that mindset. If Napier isn’t the guy, he has someone committed he views as the better choice. It won’t be because of some stupid little brother point of view.

Let’s be honest, the Ponamsky-Ree position is a necessity for O and O alone to compensate for daily incompetence on public display.
Anyone on Woody’s list will not require a person telling Rece Davis the talking points about O for a broadcast; the results of the new coach will determine the message.
