He looked like his freshman year when he closed out Tennessee throwing GAS

LOL, but it's true. Zion lawyer has a easy defense, your honor my client can't even be on time for the team flight do you really believe him or his team have the self discipline to do what being alleged here.
It's hard for me to believe Zion put forth that much effort to anything in his life as what he being accused of in that document. Even if we do release him it's not like his trade value was worth anything.

Do you remember why Randle even came here? To play with Tony who already decided to quit on a team that had Randle, Jrue, and Nikola Mirotic on the roster showed how big of a beta he was.
Hope this is true, be a lot better than him coming to a West team.

Why are some of you acting like the Pels was the only team that dropped? If I'm a Jazz or Wizard fans I'm the most upset. It didn't matter who we sent the league had there plan in place

All that panic about the Sixers passing us the last month of the season, shoot now I wished they would have.
The Boogie trade was the best move Demps did as a gm, it also helped make people forget the huge mistake he made drafting Buddy over Murray. Before Boogie got hurt dude was putting up baby Joker numbers.
I gotta ask even if Gayle is only interested in money how has she affected Griff failing . Did her being "cheap" make Zion from the first time he played a game for the pels be out of shape, or make BI after he signed that max extension never play up to a All star level again, or Griff's many errors. Can you name a situation where Griff didn't have the financial resources that hurt the team? Griff had the financial resources to sign a guy like Derrick Favors, trade for Steven Adams with a bad contact, to hire Stan VanGundy, sign a Devonta Graham or offer BI a contract extension that would be crippling if he would have expected it .

That was the whole reason she hired Griff to prove that she was serious about the pels. They even hired Trajon as GM who was also a in the running for the POBO job and then hired the sun's trainer who was supposed to be the best in the business.

I'm not the biggest Gayle fan because she trusts Mickey to much, but to place all this blame on here for Griff failing massively is ridiculous.

Like we've lived through a truly cheap owner, we practiced at the fricking alario center for years, traded our second round pick every year for cash, traded Tyson. I would love to have a owner with unlimited funds but the truth is no one like that would buy and keep the team in New Orleans.
The truth is we don't know how this hire will turn out, everyone around the league thought the Griff hire was a slam dunk. Alot of people didn't like the Leon Rose hire for the Knicks or the Lakers hiring Kobe's agent as gm and that worked out for both teams.

Even having a new owner is not a guarantee to success everyone thought the Sun's where going to dominate the west with there new owner after there previous one was viewed as cheap . Then the Mavs new owners let the gm implode there franchise in less than 7 months.

The only thing I can hope for right now is that Joe comes in with a old school mindset of this is a business and non of that family and good human BS. I actually appreciated Isiah Thomas going off on Lebron for looking like a bootleg mechanic while warming up before the game this franchise needs that type of energy. That's why I'm such of fan of Pat Riley

Honestly, when Adam Silver sees the Dumars news, he may finally say "You know what? New Orleans DOESN'T deserve a team..."

You do know the job Joe is leaving right?

Tom Benson has done a lot for the City of New Orleans and State of Louisiana. The only thing Loomis/ Gayle have done since his passing is tarnish the Benson name and destroy the fanbase/ enviornment that brought a new life and energy to the State.

LOL this is complete bs Tom Benson ownership with the Saints was a joke until he got the Payton/ Loomis combo. Dude would have moved the Saints to San Antonio after Katrina if it wasn't for Paul Tagliabue.

And the reason Tom Benson even bought the Pelicans then Hornets was because Gayle told him he should buy the team.

shamit has said this who’s been pretty accurate the last month. I’ll believe his source over a fans assumption.

It's not fan assumption it's common sense. New Orleans is not a desired market for someone to spend that amount of money and keep the team here. Look at what is going on in Dallas with there fans having legit concern that there ownership group is trying to sabotage the team in order to move and Dallas is a huge market.

If Gayle would sell the team before a long term lease is signed with the state then where screwed (we still wouldn't be safe with a long term lease from a new owner moving the team but we would have a lot more protection if they do try)

She’s had buyers who would have kept the team in Nola.

I don't believe this at all, no one is going to spend the +2 billion needed to buy the team with plans on keeping them in NOLA. They may say they will keep the team here in order to buy it then would move the team as soon as the lease expires in 2029.
I'm not a fan of hiring Dumars, but I can't blame them for wanting to move on from Zion. Just the things we know about Zion is exhausting can't imagine all the other bs that happened we don't know about.
Serious question to those melting over Fletcher comments, when has he ever been right? This is what he does he piggyback off of other people stories. Shamit is not the most reliable source either but he obviously has better sources than Fletcher.
I'm going with

C - Sylvia Fowler
PF - Angel/ Morrow
SF - Seimone
SG - Flau'jae
PG - Temeka Johnson

Really hard for me to pick between Angel and Morrow for the PF spot

Also my LSU Woman's basketball history only goes back to the Seimone era.

Did yall watch the beginning of the regular season or not? Herb came out of the gates getting absolutely torched and his shooting fell off. It’s a fair assessment. No player on this 20-62 team is above criticism. They all contributed to this trash.

What? Herb played like 4 games before he got hurt and in one of those games he got the game ending stop. It really amazing how quickly some of y'all forget how good Herb is. Dude is a defensive master, AD always points out how Herb is always there to make up for someone else mistakes on defense. Dude does so much for the team on an amazing contract.

The Pelicans had to make a move last off-season I remember all the complaints about running it back. They needed a lead guard and Dyson, Herb , and Trey where the only young players that had value. And out of those 3 you trade Dyson 10 out of 10 times.

Right now the Hawks would still prefer to have Herb making 13 mill over Dyson. With how well Dyson is playing the Hawks are still a below .500 play in team with a guy who they will have to give a contract extension making more than what TM3 got.
For the Nets game I need to hear Joel say this
"What that's Jordan Hawkins music!" We need our tank captain back.
