We need an overhaul on defensive personnel. We have 3 5* DBs and they all look like shite.

Personnel
Rarely disguise
Low blitz rate
Static zone, lack of aggression

We play on our heels from start to end. This is a terrible mindset to create on that side of the ball.

Simmons hit multiple State players in the chest/helmet and they didn’t pick him off. We will have chances to be positive in TO margin. Until someone fully commits to stopping the run, we will win.

Philo has put enough on tape with our wideouts that most teams won’t do that. Texas and UGA are the only teams with the talent on the back end that can play cover 1 man to sell out on run and not get absolutely carved up by our throw game. Curious to see if Mizzou tries it.

Florida won 17-0 in the middle 8.

Went up 41-24 midway through the 4th. Tried to run out the clock and went very conservative on defense.

Game ended up 44-39 but the game really never felt in question for Florida.
