For the HC at LSU, probably UClub. Commute straight down Nicholson, nice arse house, private golf course for the few days to play... I would hate to live there, but I gotta imagine most things the average person would look for, don't come into play for the LSU HC.

What are the two or three top areas in Baton Rouge to live?

UClub is most likely landing spot, given the size of the neighborhood, size of the houses, and location to campus. Big house off Highland like what Saban had would be an option, but he'd have to hit it at the right time due to limited supply.

A lot of ex LSU players live there too. Kevin Gausman is building a big house back there right now.

Baton Rouge has some great places and bad places like any other city in America. Highland road is beautiful. Many places he can choose from.

Generally the coaches live in the Northshore area like around Mandeville because it's the upscale part of SE LA and isn't surrounded by ghettos. It's even getting shitty now over there especially since everyone moved out of NO and decided to live there then travel to the city each day to work. The population explosion has been bad since Katrina and it doesn't have the roads to support it.

There's a few nice spots in BR and it has some good private schools. Problem is the city of BR itself is shitty and is just swallowing the few good neighborhoods it has by surrounding it with a third-world.

The problem is, there are no houses available in UClub. There are a few older homes, but nothing you would think would attract a new coach. There is definitely nothing like his Oklahoma house in UC for sale.

So where would a new coach live? Wherever he could find a house that his wife would approve of.

Tell me you've worked on the West side of the river for a decade and have been stuck in shite traffic around that bridge at ANY given time of the night and day, then get back to me.
