You know good and well Orgeron went talking to this guy before engaging his Agent or the Saints.

First question, “is there anything precluding you from accepting this job contractually? What are the severance damages.”

Actually, I “know” the opposite. While LSU waited until the Saints’ season was over to formally request an interview, there was contact with agent before. Without “knowing” this or “having sources”, this is standard operation during these searches.

Someone who has worked in contracts at LSU should know this.

Ryan Nielsen will get a new 3-year contract and the added title of assistant head coach with the Saints, per source.

oh hey look....just like I said.

but he's totally just not being let out huh Brody Miller?

Fairly obvious the Saints made him the offer he wanted so he's staying. You folks can end your butt hurt with them.

Must've got a nice raise and some incentive from New Orleans. Which I is what I told you dumbasses last night to stop saying this is a promotion for him to go here.

Or as everyone is reporting the Saints did everything they could to block this move.

Dennis Allen’s name got 0 traction as a HC. Did he even get an interview? So where is he going?

shite, at this point just beg Bo Pelini to come back, because that is the level of quality DC we are going to end up with now.

This DC search has become a total comedy of errors.

If LSU and the saints didn't hate each before this, there is no doubt they do now.

Or they wanted to appease him after telling him he can’t leave

As much as you think that’s a dig, there’s procedure and then there is reality.

look up, he got a promotion and signed a new deal. Do you sign a new deal with an organization that is holding you hostage? Use your head people

He isn’t staying with New Orleans. It’s not over yet, but Nielsen is not going back to the Saints after all of this bs from the Saints.

If he isn't staying with New Orleans why wouldn't he come to LSU? That's ridiculous.

did they force him to extend his deal? If you truly felt fricked you either fight to get out of the contract or finish it out and get the hell out when you can

You realize they can’t actually do that, right?

All the saints can do is make his next employer pay his penalty, which is measly

Some you guys on this forum have zero perspective and no common sense at all. You see everything through blinders.

And I don't have to shite on Orgeron. He's doing a good job of that himself.

Jesus let’s just roll the dice with the Schumman cat from UGA and be done with this. I can’t handle another day of derp from this university this year, and it’s still January

I refuse to believe his agent is so incompetent to not know the stipulations of his contract.

I can’t disagree.
