He's not. I think Miles is the better coach.

yea, 10-2 going into a bowl game when you are breaking in a new QB after losing Winston.

Context bro.

Look at teams like USC, Texas and Florida. Those programs crumbled after losing all world QBs

Weird. Two teams that played both seem to smell what I'm cooking here.

I'm not saying I don't like Jimbo. I'm just not sure Jimbo is gonna be the best hire for what we re going to have to pay to get him.

I'll take him. I've been done with miles for a few years. We should've taken Jimbo last year.

Herman is easily the #1 guy we should go after. Then probably Shaw. Fisher a distant 3rd.

:kige:

Fisher just doesn't strike me as a guy who feels like he has a lot left to prove. He's the safe and familiar pick. We could certainly do worse but if we're trying to put this program back at the top go get the guy who is hungry.

Shaw is the one that is more similar to Miles. It would be a lot like Trent Johnson...GREAT hire on paper but is he a fit in southeastern Louisiana with a similar philosophy to Les without all that wacky exuberance?

Record? SEC vs ACC?

Miles record against conference and division opponents has been sub par as of late.

Offense? It's only half of the game

Yeah, the half of the game that has kept this program from several more SEC and possible national titles.

Titles? Conference Titles?

Since the 1/9 game, Miles has won approximately zero and has shown signs of regressing to the point we were even further from those titles.

My point is they were coached up in college to over perform.

Don't worry, I'll admit Saban coaches up players and when they get to the league, they suck again.

Jimbo got there and he was gifted some luck and a special QB. Seems like he's been out coached 4 times in recent history.

Fla st was average when he took over. The program was declining. Wth are you talking about?

5-1. Looks like FSU is going to spank you again this year.

You don't want Jimbo but you want shaw?

She runs more of a traditional pro style than Jimbo.

So? Traditional pro style is not LSU's problem. Miles problem is he's run a "pro-style" offense circa 1950, not a pro-style 2000's offense.

I believe that he's a downgrade to Miles.

Granted my UF fanship may create a bit of a bias.
