Hate it but the RB play and development has been horrid the last two years.

I’m fine with whatever Kelly wants to do. He has a history of building great programs and hiring very capable coaches.

For the first time since Saban, coaching changes ain’t got me worried one fricking bit.

It's less about coaching and more about recruiting. LSU relies very heavily on the State of Louisiana to sustain the program and keep it at a high level, provided the coaching is there. When Louisiana kids see LSU shitting on Louisiana legends like Faulk, that's a problem. There's no spinning it any other way. Same in a way with Raymond.

Time will tell, but what could have been a semi-stacked team in 2022 is quickly collapsing and it might take a couple years to recover.

Coach Kelly is on a mission, I love what Kevin Faulk means to LSU. I just trust in what is happening.

I assume he is still coaching the bowl game.

CBK not retaining Faulk in an on field capacity is hardly shitting on him. Plus, our run game has been objectively terrible the last two years. He will probably be retained in some administrative capacity, but it’s disingenuous to say LSU is shitting on anyone.

I would bet you the average Louisiana high school football recruit doesn't know who Faulk is from his playing days.

Kelly must have some things up his sleeve that he is about to pull out. He is cleaning house of some popular names.

He was offered an off field role, probably similar to when he was director of player development

Excellent news. I heard he acted like complete trash when he was coaching high school. Nevermind our rb development was garbage.

Wish him the best but lsu can do better

High school kids never saw Faulk play at LSU, and he wasn’t good enough for them to remember him in the NFL

Faulk was horribly under qualified when hired. I’m surprised he wasn’t the 1st guy go.

RB play has been poor under him.

Faulk has had silly off field transgressions since retirement.

Yup, the rant thinks any former LSU great can just come in and be a phenomenal position coach. The RB position has always been a positive at LSU until the last couple of years.

The team wasn’t going to be stacked. The roster was horribly mismanaged by Orgeron and Kelly has to clean up the mess. And of course their will be attrition with a new coach.

You must be a miserable, unemployed individual. Every thread I’ve clicked regarding news about the program this week you’re one of the first to reply shitting all over the decision/situation. Your entire recent post history is nothing but crying and doomsday whining with zero content or merit. Take a fricking break man, this isn’t healthy.

I've been staunch RB coach doesn't really matter....however Faulk has made me somewhat question that stance

People have been saying that for decades. Here we are though with RBs who can't see a hole unless its 9 ft wide and have virtually no role in the passing game because stone hands.

It was a very typical Coach O type Hire.

Big name, zero relevant coaching experience.

Now it wasn’t a disaster, but it’s also not worth crying over.
