Brody Miller: Faulk will not be retained

News will come out soon but I have been told that CBK will not be retaining Kevin Faulk. Sucks for Faulk and feel for him but you also have to be ok with a coach bringing in who he wants.

Love Faulk but let's be real here, he wasn't a good coach and he shouldn't have been promoted to that position. I know he has been through a lot so I hope at least LSU finds a way to push him to an admin role and keep his pay.

Already been rumblings he's going to transfer portal so it wouldn't be surprising. BJ and Ryan is the guys you need to worry going to portal.

Damn that's unfortunate. Even if he wasn't an on field coach I think he is still very valuable to the program in another role if there is one for him.

I'd love him to be an alumni ambassador for Football Ops or something. Bring in our former players for steak dinners and keep them engaged in the program.

I’m fine with whatever Kelly wants to do. He has a history of building great programs and hiring very capable coaches.

Sage is a really good athlete but he couldn't get the playbook down hence why he wasn't playing earlier till Orgeron stepped in and basically forced Sage into the lineup.

KF is a great tiger, I hope he can be involved in the program in some capacity. If not for KF, we would not have had the 20 year run and 4 national championships to date.

Honestly fine with this. Love Faulk as a Tiger but have not been impressed with the RBs the last two seasons and even more unimpressed by the RB rotation. Hopefully Faulk still has a role with the school or TAF but let’s get a bonafide RB coach in here.

If Frank is coaching RBs Kiner and Goodwin should feel good about that. I am concerned retaining Sage. Trev and Kevin played a significant role getting Sage to stay home
