Aranda’s record is 12-9. Is a lazy hire and people only want him bc he’s familiar.

If Dave was the DC at Ohio State 2 years ago and had a 12-9 record as a head coach, nobody at LSU would give him a second thought for head coach. Like Mel Tucker, his head coaching resume is too short and not great based on his Winn/loss record. LSU fans only want Aranda bc he’s familiar and has been here before. That is so frickin lazy. Aranda was Les’ DC and I want nothing to do with any person who was on Les Miles’ staff. I want to clean house totally and bring in a guy who will implement his own culture and that didn’t work under our last 2 head coaches.

Let’s just go ahead and overlook him being the glue of the program from Miles’ departure through 2019, in spite of Ed.

That's dumb. It's also very apparent Aranda is an incredibly smart guy.

So stoops is your guy? At this point, that’s who it’s boiling down to, unless SW pulls a rabbit out of the hat.

Not so.

He knows his stuff. Tends to every detail. Has upped his game big time since last year.

Dave would be a great hire.

Read between the lines dude.

1. As Damone pointed out, he is probably the sole reason Miles to Orgeron wasn’t an immediate dumpster fire

2. Turnaround from last year to this year is impressive. Period.

3. Long coaching track record, renowned technician

4. Watch 2 interviews with the guy. He has it. If he stays at Baylor their floor is 8 wins. Ceiling CFP. Bookmark it.

Hell no. Hire Aranda if it’s between these 3. Those guys are two horrible options.

You have to ask yourself, after watching Baylor this year win but doing it with a very unimpressive offense with solid defense, do you want to go back into that Les Miles Era winning.

Meaning that the season is only as good as the defense allows and we win by very low scoring affairs.

Exactly. No thank you. I want an offensive guy.

This. Kind of ironic that it completely fell apart when he left isn’t it?

Brief record as a head coach. He was a good defensive coordinator here. He was not great.

He just got there and has done a stellar job considering the mediocre talent he inherited.

Miles comically underachieved with consistently superior talent.

It's disgraceful to bring his name into any discussion concerning Aranda.

No those are horrible choices. Campbell or Fickell. Hell I’d take Kiffin.

That's what happens when you take over a job that has to be rebuilt. And in his second year he has taken his team to his conference championship game after beating for the second time the offensive guru that is Lincoln Riley the guy everyone thinks is worth 12.5 million. And he did it with a lot less talent at almost every position.

I'll take Aranda before Riley any day.
