re: It’s a massive troll by Lane

downvote away

You didn't need to add that to get downvotes, but sure.

You don't have the AD releasing statements that say everything but he's going to remain the coach without the coach telling him he's gone.

I don’t think Lane’s reputation is going to survive today

The only person up there with an opinion that Lane gives a frick about is Saban....and we all know Saban has been pushing him to LSU behind the scenes. Do you really think Lane is sitting there watching gameday right now and thinking.......Well, if Rece Davis and Desmond Howard are against me leaving, I guess I should stay? I doubt he gives a single solitary frick what anyone up there, not named Nick Saban, thinks, and for good reason.

Not having to live in Baton Rouge.

Everyone says this as if everyone lives in the same area of Baton Rouge. Being rich and living somewhere is entirely different. They can literally live anywhere comfortably because they can afford it. It's not like Lane is going to be living in the shitty part of town, just like he wouldn't live in the shitty part of town anywhere he coaches.

This new belief from my source is not a troll job.

You are saying "what I heard" and "new belief" followed immediately by what actually happened. You can see where that doesn't instill much confidence in people to not call you out for being completely full of shite, yes?

God I hope we don’t get as desperate as Florida.

They haven't won anything of relevance since Urban left. I guess I can see where that desperation comes from, but yeah, it's pretty fricking bad at this point. Add the fact that there have really only been two coaches in recent memory that have ever had success there, and it I could see it breeding some desperation to stay relevant.

That’s what someone did report. I didn’t call the realtor.

I think the house thing is grasping at some pretty thin fricking straws.

I’m just sharing what I have heard and what actually happened.

Dan Mullens house going under contract the day Layla visited is extremely suspect, wouldn’t you agree?

Why would they buy a house in Florida, and then go looking at houses in Baton Rouge? That seems like a complete waste of fricking time. Wouldn't you agree? Plus, didn't someone already say earlier today that it was confirmed they weren't the ones buying the house?

My God you people can’t take a joke. Lighten up for Christ’s sake

How is Kiffin coaching Ole Miss today. Is he currently under two contracts?

You actually thought he was signing a contract yesterday when he was never even in Baton Rouge?. His ex-wife going to sign it for him? Y'all are nuts.
quote:

Don’t fall for all this shite. It’s being done on purpose.

Florida is us in the Riley situation. They were the big news all week and then boom.....Ole Miss starts putting pressure on Lane, and the process gets accelerated.

Give us the updates we need!

He already posted, but it takes a while for him to sort through all the stuff on other boards to get his information!

Not to be a Debbie downer, but are we sure this is a good thing? Need to have an experienced driver well adept to the city and what streets to roll down.

I'm sure she's in good hands . You don't send a private plane to get someone and just send them down the road with a rando for a tour of the city.
quote:

I can't believe someone actually drove over there taking pictures through the fence like a peeping tom

You can't?. I'd be more surprised if someone wasn't there.

I've read the posts that I have mentioned in the OP. None of them have said anything about them visiting Baton Rouge. I'm aware of rumors that they'll visit BR separate from these posts though.

But Finch has been adamant that Kiffin is the next UF head coach.

Better put that guy on watch when it doesn't happen. Lane might actually need to be on watch for him showing up on his doorstep.

Kelly started off as a girls softball coach; and was a successful FCS coach. Got to start somewhere. How about the coach below.

Bobby Hauck (129 Wins)

FCS Record: 129-36 (13 seasons)

FCS School: Montana (2003-2009, 2018-
If not him maybe another FCS coach?

The guy at my local high school here has won a few 1A and 2A state championships. Why don't we hire him?
