Hopefully he can get some help from the league or elsewhere.
His former Teammate Jameer Nelson later spoke out...

AB. Look at your future if you don’t get help. Mental illness is real.

Didn't that dude used to bang Lebron's mom?

I’m going out on a limb and saying drugs were involved

He has always been mentally off. He also banged LeBron's mom. As far as I am concerned, anything that makes Lebron look bad is ok in my book. I hope DeLonte gets the help he needs, because it won't end well if he stays on the path he is currently on.

How do you know he banged LeBron’s mom? I don’t follow NBA so I’ve never heard of this dude.

It's always sickening me to see people go straight to pulling out their phones and recording instead of intervening and helping in these type of situations.

the woman called 911 and then started recording to document the situation. What is someone supposed to do against a man who is beating up a homeless person? Potentially get shot? Are you allowed to shoot the assailant yourself? Only safe thing you can do is call the cops.

I think you would be able to shoot the guy....like the old saying goes "below the kneecaps..."

That is shameful to continue to beat up somebody that can't defend themselves. I'd rather fight the bully than fight some drunk, weak,or nice guy. I never had respect for that,it's like hitting a girl.

Stomping on someone's head is fricking attempted murder
user avatar
denvertiger52 months
Could be. At the very least, it's aggravated assault. I'm guessing the cops will have a look at the video.

He earned $16.5 million in his career, plus endorsements. Why doesn't he use some of the interest from that money and get off the street?

Interest on zero dollars is zero. No matter what the rate is.

So you are saying he volunteered for this?

I think it’s pretty obvious he doesn’t have any of that money he earned in the NBA. Allen Iverson made North of 140 million in the NBA and he’s broke as frick. You think he wasn’t able to spend it while he was playing or something? Lol. I’m sure he went into the league broke and came out broke. It happens a lot.

He needs to get checked in a psych ward.

West? Or that psychopathic guy who stomped on him in broad daylight with drivers passing close by?

All the new young, irresponsible, primadonna, hedonistic, spend-happy gazillionaire players flaunting their cash need to watch this every day for a year.

WORLDSTAR. Ok, in all seriousness, I’m not going to judge someone for not getting out of his car to break up a bum fight in the middle of the freeway. At least he got it on video so there’s evidence of what happened.
