re: What are your top 10 favorite Trump victories as POTUS? - PrettyLights on 5/22/20 at 3:11 pm
Trump's biggest victories are the (2) Supreme Court Justices that he has appointed - Kavanaugh and Gorsuch....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Jumbo mortgage loan rates - PrettyLights on 5/14/20 at 7:28 pm
During the first week of March I locked in at 3.25% fixed on a 30 year jumbo loan. I had the option to buy down to 3.0% but I decided against it because I wanted to hold on to cash. I feel fortunate but also think that rates will ultimately come down for jumbos within the next 12-18 months or sooner...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Can a small business owner sue the state for discrimation - PrettyLights on 4/27/20 at 7:17 pm
From a business owner's perspective, this will be a complete waste of your time. You will also spend a LOT of money in the process - probably way more than you are thinking. It's your time and money but the chances of you being successful are very slim. I realize that you are frustrated (as anyone w...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Should I Accept the Job Offer? - PrettyLights on 4/17/20 at 11:23 am
I had to make a similar choice last year and stuck with the job that provided me a better quality of life and work life balance. I suggest you have a face to face meeting with one of the senior leaders at your current company and give them the respect of talking through your thought process. You...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: SBA and PPP - PrettyLights on 4/15/20 at 7:29 pm
I worked with a fantastic local bank in your area for years but they are based in Maryland. Old Line Bank, they had good lending horsepower and worked with us through the recession. Great people over there and I highly recommend them. They are the people you can have face to face discussions with an...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Has SBA made anybody's 7A or 504 payments yet? - PrettyLights on 4/15/20 at 7:23 pm
No we have not seen a physical payment applied to our account at this time. We were made aware of this when the scheduled auto payments for our loans did not process. We contacted our bank and they let us know that they froze all of their customer's scheduled payments due to the stimulus plan. They ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: SBA and PPP - PrettyLights on 4/15/20 at 7:11 pm
If you're a business owner and chase is leaving you completely stranded, you really have no other choice but to move away from them as soon as you are realistically able to. I realize this is a crazy time and that everyone is applying but you should really consider developing a relationship with a c...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: Has SBA made anybody's 7A or 504 payments yet? - PrettyLights on 4/15/20 at 4:31 pm
Yes, we have three 7A loans that have six and seven figure balances. The bank notified us that we do not need to make this payment for six months as the SBA will be paying this for us. Its mind blowing the amount of money being printed by our Government right now....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: PPP Allocation Almost Fully Tapped - PrettyLights on 4/14/20 at 5:36 pm
We just received and signed our loan docs about an hour ago. Seven figure loan with a community bank, I submitted our application to our bank on Friday 04/03/2020 and he submitted our application to the SBA website and received approval on Tuesday 04/07/2020. The SBA has required banks to fund the l...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Has anyone actually been funded through any of the SBA programs? - PrettyLights on 4/11/20 at 10:11 am
What method did everyone use for the number of employees section of the application? Total FTE employee count as of the date of the application or average employee count during 2019? The instructions were very vague on this topic and I have seen several different interpretations of how people com...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Treasury hinting at timing on PPP disbursements? - PrettyLights on 4/8/20 at 9:26 pm
Revenue doesn’t matter. This is strictly payroll. They’re not asking for tax returns for the PPP.
I realize that. The nature of my question was for a different reason. The request seems odd given you have a working relationship with this bank....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Treasury hinting at timing on PPP disbursements? - PrettyLights on 4/8/20 at 8:36 pm
Has your revenue fluctuated drastically from 2019 to 2020? If not, the guidelines would state that you should base your average monthly payroll from Jan '19 thru Dec '19 in addition to average monthly health insurance and retirement plan costs. This seems more to be a request from the bank that you'...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
