PETA Is Asking Mississippi St. To Retire Bulldog Mascot After Incident With Auburn Player

During Saturday's game, Auburn RB JaTarvious Whitlow ended his touchdown run by accidentally flying into Mississippi State's mascot "Bully." The clip of it made the rounds, but now PETA is called for Mississippi State to retire their Bulldog Mascot after incident...

So...do they think this dog stays in a kennel on campus all week with little human interaction between Saturdays rather than at the home of his owner/trainer? fricking idiots. Jak would probably prefer to stay away from PETA and their efforts to find a home for him...or a trip to one of their "shelters" that euthanize animals.

PETA has complained the last two times LSU needed to find another Mike, saying they should stop the practice. LSU responds that they're helping preserve the species (which they are). So PETA can stuff it.

like with most organizations, it starts out with good intentions, and then when their mission is basically accomplished, they stretch and go too far. Caring about good treatment of animals is a good thing, and early on I think PETA had a positive impact. But now PETA is out there on the fringe. Thankfully, no rational person pays attention to them anymore.
