re: stock tip...FSLY

Dly 10 ma is at $115 right now. Anything around there or lower would be a slam dunk add.

You can take a small position now since it had a big drop and slowly average down if it keeps dropping.

I've seen this before before a stock broke out again. Is this indicating that it is likely to break up or down soon? My vote is up.

What are the .382 and .618 indicating?

same here, but I got a little more upside at the end. -8% to +8% We'll see if it holds through next tuesday.

Saw all my gains from yesterday evaporate in 30 minutes...luckily I didn't sell at the bottom. Strong hands and longer holds, I will prevail.

$23k loss for me at those dates. Sad times. Still mad at LVGO for merging right before earnings. So dumb.

You've done better than I have since then. I got absolutely rocked for 3 days in a row. Should've sold after day 1.

I'm $13k down from that peak.

Up $5500 today mainly on the back of PTON calls/GOGO calls

With assistance from some FSLY/SQ/SE calls.

Soooo, more 2021 long FSLY calls is what I'm hearing.

What's up with SE today? seems very oversold.

Doesn't help if price drops when earnings are announced after market close.

I'm not selling my shares, I sold half @ 108.

I do have 3 8/14 $90 calls.
I may unload 2 of them tomorrow and hold one.

I have an 8/21 $75 call as well. Will probably unload it if FSLY hits $118 tomorrow.

I'm up big on all of them, but it would suck to have a massive pullback after earnings and lose that profit.

Sold half of mine @ 107 and it's still going.

Have 3 $90 8/14 calls I don't know what to do with

Wished I had got in earlier. Finally broke down and got in @ 92 last week. Bad timing right before a nice drop to a better entry point. Then boom, great return today.
Still a lot of stocks that are well below their pre-covid highs.

And most recessions lead to a boom post recovery, so it's not too late.

Currently the market is buying the "recovery stocks" - Airlines, Cruises, vacation stocks etc.

All the stay at home stocks are having a pullback after a significant run.

Glad I got out when I did but I nearly lost a lot buying high. Should have waited for the dip. This thing is crazy and I don't think I'm going to jump in unless it drops to $3-4 and stays there for a while.

Jumping in this KTOV @ .55

Sorry for the imminent drop

Was not expecting NVDA to drop this morning. Strange action the morning before ER.
Depends on the stock. If I think it has a future, just buy and forget about it. FSLY for instance. I check it but only to buy more when if it dipped.

If it's a swing trade I monitor them closely to see if it's time to take some profits.

I'm just buying the 5/22s because its most likely going to steadily go up until about mid day Thursday. Probably sell most Thurs AM and hold on to a couple in case it's a good ER blowout.

Worried a lot is going to get dumped right before close on those who think the earnings won't live up to this increase.

I sold some last Friday on a dip to lock in some gains. Then it took off. But I did snag some more before close! Bought more in the dip yesterday.
Going to hold on to mine until at least tomorrow. Not in for very much so will see what happens. May just hold onto it for a while to see if anything ever comes of it.
pretty sure this thing is going to skyrocket on open. Followed by a huge drop
What's everyone's plan for tomorrow?

I should have got out of some positions when I was up today. Regretting that now but I might have to eat some losses to profit on the rebound. If it keeps falling that is.
