LSU junior defensive lineman Rashard Lawerence spoke with reporters at SEC Media Days in Atlanta on Monday and talked about transfer quarterback Joe Burrow, his clean bill of health, and being a leader on the team.

He also had some great comments about his least favorite subject in school and his favorite foods.

With DL Rashard Lawrence, DE Bredon Fehoko, DT's Ed Alexander and Tyler Shelvin our D-Line will be monstrous. As a matter of fact our front 7 will be beastly and with Greedy our Safeties and the CB's we have in house and the CB's we got coming in our Secondary will be fine, meaning we will have a top 5 defense nationally. I ran into his father one day when working traffic. He learned it honest. Dad is as good as they come. Spent 20 minutes on the side of the road talking tiger football.
