Cholly Mac did not know how to use Bert Jones to his full potential.
Could have had another Heisman winner if he had. Never realized this before, but Bert went 2nd in the NFL draft, and his daddy, Dub Jones, went 2nd in the 1946 NFL draft. Cool fact...
Bennie Logan- DL coach at Catholic High(when he’s not fishing)
One of my favorite Tigahs ever!!! (Dalton Hilliard is up there too) ...
He went around the pitch before that should have been strike 3
No. He didn't. The replay confirmed it. ...

If anybody had any doubts about how shltty the umpires are, there's no doubt now. ...
Right now, South Carolina!!!! (but Tennessee is a close second)...
I fear we may have broken South Carolina last night
Hope so!! I don't like 'em!!!...
Jones fielding the bunt and getting the guy at 3rd. Milazzo starting the dp on the bunt. The throw down to 2nd and then back home to get the guy at the plate.
LOVED IT!! These were ALL so much fun to watch. When Bear whipped that ball over to 3rd, my jaw dropped!!! :)...

That is all......
He's good. Not Ben, but who can compare to Big Ben?...
2 of those runs were because the relief pitcher decided he didn't want to throw strikes anymore.
They got on base while facing Skenes, so if they score they count against him, no matter how inept the relief guy was..... and he was. Doesn't seem fair, but pretty sure that's the rule...
