I would say no, they 100% dont mean anything anymore but if a 7-5 teams backs out of a bowl you just extend an offer to a team with less wins who will play the game and be appreciative of it like Mississippi state did.. Still gives young players practice time going into the spring

Well from the sounds of what went on in practice and our lack of S&C i think that is where our main concern starts is Savage doing better with the strength and conditioning. From the sounds of it our o-line didnt know what hitting sleds were till Kelly was fired... Isnt that offensive line training 101

I think Whit is the type to come back anyways. Remember he is the one that talked Nuss into staying. Also think he wants to try to play with Zach. Between Kiffin being coach and him seeing that there could be a real shot at the playoffs and also potentially playing with his brother i think he stays..
