Not to spoil it for you but because some people truly are interested in the fact that the seismograph has regularly recorded tremors from the stadium from the time it was installed.
Makes for a good story though.

LSU/AU, once. Garth Brooks, once. LSU/Bama, twice. Been to three of four earthquake moments.

I wonder if this caused any reading at LIGO (gravity wave) facility in Livingston; someone in the Physics Department needs to find out.

OMG...I'm still giddy. I almost called this one. From a few days ago:

Daniels drives the Fighting Tigers down the field with 2:22 left on the clock. The shifty QB hits Boutte on an out route @ the 10 yd line where the new WR daddy jukes the deserter, Eli Ricks, into the end zone as time runs out. The thunderous explosion by the fans registers again as a gulf coast earthquake! Fans storm the field and throw the goal posts into the Mississippi River. :-)
