If Denver Harris's strength is man to man, then play him man to man. Why try to force him into a zone type coverage. We get torched in zone. LSU's best defenses have been when we have corners that strong man to man coverage. The Cowboys absolutely blew it with Mo Claiborne when they drafted him. Mo was a man to man corner and the Cowboys put him in a zone. He had never played zone at LSU. When we play zone, wide outs run right through our defense wide open.

We have the athletes in this state to play press coverage. He just has to find them, get them and play press. That’s what built DBU…which has been quiet for a few years now.

The d-line needs to apply more pressure.

Why would you prostitute LSU for a few million dollars for the last four years' Opening Games when it totally destroys LSU's Top-10 Ranking?

I wish I wasn’t the only one mentioning that the D-Line needs to get some pressure.

our d line hasn’t generated pressure for years. Maason Smith is the next Anthony “freak” Johnson

Did Anthony Johnson play up to expectations? He was a must get but I thought I remembered he was good but not like some of the great dlineman we have had. But I could be wrong.

If the d-line could get some pressure, it would help the secondary a ton. No secondary is good without being good in the trenches. Challenge the d-line to get some pressure or maybe House should dial up some schemes to get pressure.

Yep, pressure causes confusion and disruptions...The secondary will benefit from certified pressure, period...

Can't be overstated that the D-LINE needs to get some pressure.

Trust the process. Everyone needs to stop freaking out. We all thought bc we beat bama last year, that all the problems this program had when BK arrived, were gone. No. We’re still less than 2 years removed from the shite show O left us. Lot of football left to be played. BK has won everywhere he’s been. No reason he can’t win here.

I can’t defend anyone who thinks Daniels should start over Nussmeier. As far as this topic goes, plays Harris….at least he looks the part
