Plenty pitchers can do 100 mph but his ball movement is criminal and so consistent. We were fortunate to have witnessed him at LSU

Truly one of the greatest college pitchers of all time. To think he was a two way player at Air Force what - 3 years ago? lol. What a crazy story and what an amazing job the LSU staff did to properly develop him.

Satchel Paige told Josh Gibson where the pitches were going and still struck him out. Skenes has a long way to go.

Johnny Bench 1st game was against Bob Gibson...he had told his dad couple yrs prior that he thought he could hit Gibson while they watched Gibson pitch on a Sat. game of the week. He struck out 3 times on 10 pitches from Gibson in his professional debut. After last k he looked in stands and saw his ole man laughing and shakeing his head so he started laughing and his coach asked what was so fricking funny after his 3rd k in game....coach was Sparky anderson ..he said Coach God couldn't hit this guy....I think lots of big leaguers today will feel the same about facing Skenes!

Maybe one day he’ll be as good as Sudd Finch

If you don’t know, look him up.

What's wrong with someone in his position to start having kids at 21? They're both multimillionaires and will have generational wealth.
