i really don't think she saw him until right as she got hit. she looks like she's looking further down the road and more to the left as she's coming out from the right side. he's basically in her peripheral at that point as she's focused down-range. terrible accident for both of them. hope they are okay. whoever is running that event is responsible to keep people off the course. they will be eating some medical expenses. also, i think the clown who crosses while talking on his cell phone just a moment before the lady attempted to cross probably gave her false confidence that there was room/time to cross.
