Brennans or Galatoires?

I have the option to do a Friday lunch at either Brennans or Galatoires.
For Brennans, it would be a significantly cheaper meal as I have my CSR $150 credit to use.
Is Galatoires Friday lunch worth the hype and the extra cost?
I have been to Galatoires for dinner, but never lunch. I have never been to Brennans. My husband has never been to either.

Galatoire's is good bit better imo. But, if you have $150 bux off and havent been, may as well go to Brennans. The trick to these places is, you kinda need to spend a lot of money to really enjoy it. The standard, reasonably priced food is fine, but you have to splurge to get the better experience.

Go to Brennan’s and request the beef filet prepared table side. It’s not on the menu, but always available.

We can do a 11:30am at Galatoires or a 12:15 at Brennans.

Friday lunch at Galatoires used to be lit back in the day. You could order more than food and booze from your waiter.

I love Brennan’s but my answer is definitely Galatoire’s. Friday lunch at Galatoire’s is the quintessential New Orleans food party scene.
Of course you should not let your Brennan’s certificate go to waste.

Galatoire’s but make sure you are sitting downstairs.
And if you do it correctly, you can always just walk out of Galatoire’s and head to Brennans for dinner after and use your gift card.

My last meal at Brennan s was pretty pedestrian, w e did the bananas foster so that's fun. I have never had a bad meal at Galatoire's.

Galatoire’s by a mile for the atmosphere alone.

Galatoire’s for lunch on Fridays(be sure to get reservations), and Brennan’s any other time, just ‘cause you have that gift card…
