I’m pretty sure they weren’t “stolen” from their homeland but rather captured and sold by their brethren.
Those trigger mechanisms on the hav-a-heart trap can be a little forgiving for the vermin. You have to place the trap down where you want it and set the wire just on the edge of the little bent end, like making a hair trigger. You’ll eventually catch them and can relocate or frickin eat ‘em if you want. Those traps work pretty well.

Doesn’t look like he was the first one that didn’t know about the curve. That patch where he landed looked like an ideal spot to crash.

Don’t make a big deal about. I believe it’s real but it can also be a mind game.

Keep him well fed and hydrated. Puking/dry heaving on an empty stomach is very miserable if it comes to that.

Aww yes, the age of low rise jeans and muffin tops.

I sincerely miss low rise jeans…muffin tops, not so much.

This high-waisted mom jeans thing needs to go away.

It's super easy to put a griddle pan over a grill and get all of the same cooking abilities.

This is my setup and it only cost $20. I also don’t have to store another bulky item on the back deck.

On these size pumps you needs VFDs. If you don't you'd brown out the neighbors when motors are switched to line feed. The VFDs help the pumps start slowly reducing the inrush current. Also they can vary the pump speeds as the rain rate varies. Say you have 1" of rain you can turn one pump on at 50% power. You get 2" you go up to 100% or start a 2nd pump at 50%.

Check your drain pans under the HVAC and water heaters

This needs to happen every trip in the attic for anybody that owns a house and this equipment was installed overhead. Especially if you’ve had blown-in insulation recently installed, a roof replaced or anybody in your attic for whatever reason - go check these two items. These are some of the most non-catastrophe insurance claims I see daily and they’ll cause your already inflated rates to increase 30% which is a fact if you do indeed file a claim. Water claims are some of the worst claims you can file.

When looking at the a/c check the pan for debris and water. If there is any debris, clean it out with a vac. If there is water in the pan you have a problem and it’s usually a quick and easy DIY fix.

Check the water heater every time you’re in the attic. If you see water or an accumulation of rust/corrosion on top of the unit or in the drip pan you have a problem. If the water heater is more than 10 years old but working fine, start working on a budget to replace it…it will fail at the worst time. The warranty for most is only 6 years and depending on your water supply it can fail shortly after that warranty period especially if you’re on a well as opposed to city water. I’ve seen some WHs in the city last well over 20 years but that is definitely rolling the dice.

Both of these issues are easy to catch before they become a problem and can literally save you thousands.

On the off chance you need it, digging in the open yard is not tremendously expensive as heavy equipment can be used.

Digging under the house is much more expensive and the access is usually covered by your existing HO insurance anyway.
We’ve got a couple Antler Shed stands that are really nice especially in cold weather. The only issue we’ve had is the track for the sliding windows makes opening and closing them difficult. I don’t know if it’s debris in the track or something got damaged. It’s annoying but it hasn’t yet made it to the list of things to fix. I really only think about it when I’m in the stand.

I think our next stands are going to be the Ranch Kings. I’m trying to find time to go look at them in person.
When I was a kid I thought when they stopped dredging the lake it would be crystal clear. Apparently I was wrong.
If you plan on having the car for a while, you may want to consider buying an extended warranty. You can buy the warranty from basically any dealership or online just make sure you get one from a reputable company and buy the top tier (i.e. platinum as opposed to gold or silver or however they rank them). We had a mechanic friend recommend a few companies that he always gets approval from and went from there.

I know a lot of people will shite on the idea of an extended warranty but it paid for a bunch of crap on my wife’s SUV including the infotainment system touchscreen, the transmission, radiator, tire sensors, and a few other small things.
Tamko is a builder grade shingle and Certainteed is better shingle in my opinion.

I think the best two options right now are the Owens Corning Duration and Atlas Pinnacle Pristine. I went with OC Duration due to the Kevlar nailing strip. The shingles also hold up well and fungal growth doesn’t develop on the surface like the cheaper shingles.

I would definitely look into getting a fortified roof if replacing now. I don’t know the price difference but you may find it worthwhile with insurance savings.

BTW, not many small roofing companies carry or stock shingles themselves. They purchase from a supply house per job. They are incentivized selling a particular brand by the shingle manufacturer/sales rep. They may get a few benefits by pushing a certain brand.

Keep in mind, if insurance is paying for your roof, the roofer usually has about a 33% profit built into that price and some shitty roofers will push a cheaper shingle to make more money.

You’re the boss, don’t let the roofer steer you in the wrong direction. Quotes from roofers are usually always free. Even if you have a contract with a particular roofer, I would still shop around to get some other opinions.

If a flight is too full to provide the extra seat, Southwest says it will rebook the passenger on a later flight where the accommodation can be made.

This is actually pretty good motivation for fatties. Imagine getting bumped or having to book another flight because you’re too obese to be on the flight you scheduled.

If I was chunky, I’d be buying two seats to avoid sitting in the airport watching the plane take off without me.
I stopped at McDonald’s on a road trip last week. I was a little excited because there was nobody in line and my pit stop wouldn’t delay me more than a few minutes. To my surprise, after I order AND pay they tell me to pull to the waiting area and I was like the 8th car there. If I would’ve know there were 8 people ahead of me, I wouldn’t have stopped. Sons of bitches

You can buy Annin brand flags on Amazon. Very high quality and durable.

I don’t believe you. There is no fire in any of your pics. I’ll stick to my trusty flint stone
