We don’t hate the media enough. NBC called this a “firework.” Looks like arson to me…

I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt since maybe she didn’t recognize who they were and was in too much shock to say anything else. It did seem weird though.

Attempted murder charge for every person in that building

Bet she is visited by the feds. Who is randomly filming the front of the building at the exact time it is happening? Too odd.

When we're watching something and my wife (no pics) starts with the "Oh my God" I always say "Oh your God" in response.

while the statment out the media is true, the article i read said he set off fireworks THEN poured a liquid and set it on fire
DHS statement:
This would explain why someone was filming the lighting of the fire.
Filmer must have heard the fireworks and started recording.
DHS statement:
quote:
"At approximately 8:20 am, an anti-ICE rioter launched fireworks outside of 26 Federal Plaza, grazing a bystander and poured what is believed to be gasoline on the stairs of the entrance of the building and set it on fire," the agency said in a statement. "An FPS Protective Security Officer swiftly tackled and detained the agitator, sustaining minor injuries during the incident. Officers quickly recovered the individual’s bag, which contained what appeared to be two pellet guns and a manifesto."
This would explain why someone was filming the lighting of the fire.

Why would you pour gasoline on concrete stairs 20 feet away from the entrance of the building? How dumb are these people?

Andrew Arrabaca, who was a mechanic on Patriot missile systems, is in custody and has been interviewed, said James Barnacle, assistant director in charge of the FBI's New York Field Office.
Barnacle said at a news conference that the 43-year-old Arrabaca "came armed with bad intentions" and had various weapons, including a pellet gun, knives, a hammer and a machete. Arrabaca fired five to seven pellets from an airsoft rifle toward the building, Barnacle said.

I mean, fireworks are great starters for committing arson.

What a pathetic attempt to do damage.

I try not to hate anything or anyone. I consider hate to be a weakness.
I still fail.

The FBI alleges Arrabaca poured gasoline onto the ground and ignited it using a lighter and a firework, causing the flames to spread. Investigators say he then pulled out an airsoft rifle and fired between five and seven pellets.
