Looking for a pull trailer for wife and I. Possibly a boy or two on occasion. Easy to pull, not long over 21ft. Correction: Tongue weight 500.

I don’t know which one is the best, but there are probably about 5 or 6 huge ones within 40 miles or so of BR. So you should be able to price and compare in person fairly easily.

None are good. I’ve had good service experiences at Miller and RV Shop.

Make the drive to Rick’s RV Sales in Ville Platte. Incredible people and the service center is top notch and won’t rip you off. It’s the only place I will ever go.

Save money and buy pre owned off of rv trader. Rvs are marked up 45% and all have bugs, most dealers are not trustworthy. Warranty pretty useless.. ot like automotive industry at all

tongue weight 5000

I think you meant 500 lb tongue weight.

I’m looking for either a sprinter van or a small camper with Murphy bed and no slides with a big fridge.

Really want a sprinter or small RV that you drive. My wife and I plan to travel a lot when I retire in a year or so.

Those vans or so practical but damn they are expensive. When you calculate how many nights of use vs how many nights you could stay in a hotel, it’s hard to even closely justify the cost.

^This
I bought a travel trailer from Berryland a few years ago. It had a roof leak that was fixed once under warranty. I put it in storage and found it had leaked again within a few weeks from the same issue, the manufacturer let me know it was just out of warranty (by a few days) and they would not be covering it. I sold it shortly after for a few thousand dollars to stop paying storage fees on the POS. I really liked it while It wasn’t leaking but it remains the worst purchase of my life from a financial perspective.

If I really needed one, I would buy a higher end used one. Plenty of dealerships between Lafayette and Hammond.

I was going to mention that. 5000 lb tongue weight would be one hell of a trailer, and he would need a class 8 truck to pull it.
