When did flight attendants stop helping with luggage

While getting on my connection from Houston to Cincy i noticed that the overhead bens near my seat were at capacity. I held my bag and made it wat to my seat. Once I set down, I was advised by my twink of an attendant that I can put my bag in the compartment 15 rows up. So, I put my bag on the seat and said here you go. His reply is that touching bags is not in their policy. My reply was to say that he was very sweet.
5 minutes later I'm asked to leave the plane for a conversation with the boarding crew. He told them that I threw the bag at him and that I would be removed if not for an apology. I obliged because my destination as more important than the situation.
Conclusion, frick this guy and his feelings. United sucks and the plane smells like stale marijuana from others on the plane. They are the new Spirit airlines.I

The 5-6 flights we take a year, I always always see the AA attendants help out. Mostly because they want to take off.

nope, someone who paid for a service and when the person getting paid to provide this service refused with a push back I was threatened by being removed from the flight. I'm sure you would just smile and nod at his flamboyancy. while enjoying the stench.

I feel your pain on the bins. I wish they would I force the carry-on size limit correctly. If they would, there would be plenty of space.
