New Water Hose and Spray Trigger Recs

I had one of the retractable hoses that shrink when turned off bust over the weekend. We’ve had it for quite a while and use it often. It was a 50ft hose that I could easily wrap up and lay over the spigot. I’m thinking about getting a 100ft just to have some extra reach in the yard. My wife does like the ones that shrink better than a regular hose. What are some good ones to look for or are they all basically the same?
Also, if y’all have any recommendations on spray triggers that get good pressure that would be great. My existing sprayer doesn’t spray very well. I don’t need pressure washer type pressure, but something for cleaning the mower or 2nd story windows from the ground would be ideal. Do yall have any recommendations for good quality spray triggers?

the cheap metal ones from lowes are the best. just replace them when they fail. shite, i found one that was burried for a year, cleaned it off and it worked fine. and if it didn't, less than $10 to replace.

I have one of these, and it definitely isn't pressure washer level, but it has two brass tips you can interchange for a fan shape or a straight stream. I did exactly as you were wanting to do to rinse windows off from the ground. I did use a folding step ladder to get a little more height, but it was able to blast the cobwebs off.

Anyone have one of those actual retractable hoses that you mount to your house? Apparently you pull it fast and it retracts back up.
How do you like it?

All of those hoses that shrink are disposable. I have 600’ of hose stretched all over my place right now and the ones I’m happiest with are these, from Home Depot LINK
Gorilla tough lite
They are flexible, soft, lightweight, don’t kink, spool up easily and hold up to abuse and being left out in the sun. Plus the fittings on each end are really nice. Highly recommended

+1 for the flexzilla, particularly the ones with the swivel grip.

Cheap one at Harbor Freight, when it gets issues just toss if for another.
