Gonna be in New Orleans for a short time and need my RB poboy craving.
R&O is usually my go to. But they are closed on Mondays as is Parkway
Looks like Mahoneys, Bears, parasol and guys are open
What would y’all say is the best in that bunch?

If guys is open then go that route.

If you want a good atmosphere then do Parasols.

If in the uptown area, Domilise's and Frankie & Johnny's are open on Mondays. Those two are just a couple stone's throw away from each other.

Parkway Bakery and several others are closed Monday's.

Monday’s is for red beans ‘n rice, not po’boys. But, if you gotta have one, maybe Johnny’s in the French Quarter will be open…

What I can’t get is a great roast beef poboy. It’s what I must have when I return lol

I was going to suggest Crabby Jack's but see they are closed on Mondays (and Tuesday) during the summer. I've never had their roast beef, but I've seen folks eating it. If it compares to their slow roasted duck, it's good.

Frady's. Less than $10. Super sloppy. And a neat little place that should be on everyone's to go radar. Or you can grab a table outside and watch the characters in that area.

Guy's is known for their shrimp poboy but that RB is banging! And I've had Bears. It's good for sure. But not as good as Guy's.
