Well Baton Rouge is a city (not a town) and the metro area is 880,000 people so that is why Amazon built the center here and not in Gainesville.

This post is ludacris. I have lived in BR all my life and have never, not once, felt unsafe. Do I go into the areas that are "bad"? No but all metro areas have that. We have so much more to offer than either Oxfart or Gainesville, both of which are college towns that would disappear if their university left. BR would still thrive without LSU.

What’s funny about this is the buyout will be private money. LSU or any public institution does not have general funds sitting in an account somewhere for rainy days.
