Regardless of what Ole Miss does, LSU is highly likely to be in the playoff if they win out.

This is the case almost every year is seems like. Over the past decade and a half our season always “balls” down to the bama game. Outside a few seasons we always catch a loss or 2 going into the bye, get our hopes up that we will run the table then lose to bama and season dwindles away

It's "balls" in the Carolinas. I was in South Carolina a couple of years ago visiting the Cowpens Battlefield, site of a key Revolutionary Army victory. The nearest town to the battlefield is Boiling Springs, and I said it that way and the locals didn't understand me. They call their town "Balling Sprangs."

They said it that way. They didn’t spell it that way.
Rigolette Road in Pineville is not spelled “Row-Gully” like the locals pronounce it.

We need to go 10-2 and lock things up. If we drop another game, it's really dicey. Ole Miss losing another doesn't help us if we go 9-3; if anything it would make our losses worse.
All that said, I'm pulling for LSU to win out, and Ole Miss to drop at least one more, just for the laughs.
