Can’t wait to see who voted LSU at 20-25 this week. What a joke!

Ohio state at #11 after losing to unranked USC.
And their back up qb that will be starting for rest of season looked like garbage.
Rewind the clock to 2023 when undefeated FSU got bumped from the playoffs because they lost their starting quarterback and no longer “past the eye test”
The only consistency in the ranking are that it’s consistently a fricking joke and always tilt in favor of the OSU, bamas, notre dames… smh

These rankings dont really matter but Indiana winning the national championship last year has really done something to the way AP pollsters vote. 5 of the top 8 consist of Utah, Ucla, Indiana, Byu, and Kentucky.

Won’t matter. We’re either top 10 come next poll or we are on the outside looking in if we lose.

Next week we won’t be number 15.
Win top 10, lose bottom 20.
Win top 10, lose bottom 20.

Serious question, do you think they should bump 2 of the only 3 undefeated teams left out of the top 8 just because they aren’t big name programs? It’s funny that everyone complains about schools like ND and Miami being ranked high because they are a big name, then also complain when Utah, UCLA, and Kentucky are ranked high because they aren’t big names.
Also this isn’t just because Indiana won last year. Last year in week 9, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, and BYU were all in the top 10.

I like Bama and TU higher, increases the value of a victory.

Kentucky will be exposed in November...they could easily get two more losses...not sure why Ohio State is that high...their QB sucks and that should be reflected in the polls.
I understand the benefit of the doubt for an undefeated team going into November, so no problem with Utah and UCLA being ranked high, but they need to be hammered if they lose their first game against a decent opponent.

I asked ChatGPT to predict neutral site lines for LSU vs the top14. We’d be favored in 9 of the matchups. Poll are ridiculous. Hopefully the CFP rankings are more in line.
AP rank

Predicted neutral-site line
1 Miami LSU +1
2 Georgia LSU +2.5
3 Utah LSU -3.5
4 Notre Dame LSU +1
5 UCLA LSU -8
6 Indiana LSU -3
7 BYU LSU -10
8 Kentucky LSU -12
9 Alabama LSU +0.5
10 Texas LSU -3.5
11 Ohio State LSU +1.5
12 Ole Miss LSU -2.5
13 Texas Tech LSU -9.5
14 Wake Forest LSU -6

No but they shouldn't reward those teams with such a high ranking with playing a patsy schedule and not beating anyone with a pulse. Minus Indiana and Kentucky no one thinks those teams should be ranked that high. You dont have to do it, it will all work itself out in the end.

I get what you're saying but ND and Miami acquire good talent and have proven themselves in the past. Its still is bull shite though that they play nobody.

I bet you could care less because you cared enough to comment.

Obviously that’s not true, as there are people that are voting them to be that high.

Exactly. So why are people bitching about a week 9 AP Poll?
