Went on the road and beat #1 team in the last seconds. Do we really think they’re going to quickly put that behind them and focus on the next task at hand?

This isn’t a Saban-led team who is gonna go right back to the grind and make sure they’re ready to roll next week.

More than likely, this team will come in still hungover, for an 11am start and suffer the same consequences we’ve seen team after team after team do this year after a big win.

Either way, we gotta bring it. But I do expect Auburn to come out slow at the very least.

You are wrong if you think they'll be unprepared and not ready

We are now discussing that very subject. Yes. Auburnt will be tired and not ready to get their asses whipped.

Maybe, but they have the potential to give our defense fits.

Baker better not underestimate them.

As you pointed out, it was a road game. Their fans are going to be very excited to welcome them back against a top opponent. The atmosphere will be electric, and I expect the Auburn team to be also.

And what makes you say that? What about this Auburn team makes you think they’re anymore locked in than say a Florida after ole Miss?

Its tough to keep kids focused after a huge win like that. And they’re not an elite team to begin with.

I expect Auburn to have some degree of a hangover. Additionally, LSU will have no shortage of motivation playing a team that just beat the #1.

I’m not so sure I can sit through another one of their coaches post-game interviews. That dude sure is emotional. Kinda like a teen girl emotional. Someone really needs to tell him “there’s no crying in football”…

Really unfathomable that they went into Athens and won. They looked as bad as any team in the conference up to that point including Arky and Vandy.

Play like we did yesterday, and we win by 14+

Im not sure about the hangover. I am sure AU now has LSU’s full attention.

UGA played a poor game yesterday.

Idk. New coach for them, new culture. No reason to assume they'll be sluggish. Could simply have new life and swagger. As USUAL for EVERYONE we play.

It would be nice to win a road game so we somewhat justify this confidence of victory.

Auburn won because the forced 4 turnovers. We have to protect the ball.

If they do start out sluggish and slow, we better be ready to take advantage of that. Put the game away early if at all possible!

Their QB is a 5th yr SR with 8900 yds passing and 2700 rushing in his college career. I don't think he'll be hungover.

he's an erratic passer so LSU can knock him off schedule, but they can't let him beat you running. He's a big dude at 6'3 235.

We have seen a lot this year, teams have a huge win then shite the bed the following week.

If this game were in Tiger Stadium, I would expect that to continue.

But AU will be ready at home.
