re: The .30-06 conspiracy theory is the theory with the most legs.

The shot hit is body armor and deflected up into his neck and brain. Never exited. That’s how a 30-06 doesn’t pass all the way through. It hit a blunt object. These people know this. Everyone knows this. This is all BS to get clicks.
re: What is your golden rule for retirement?

I think if I were in your shoes I’d do 3 things
Stay humble - find a way to volunteer or teach for free to give something back.
Find ways to give $ to good causes without anyone knowing. Example…go to the funeral home and ask if they have anyone that has been hit with extreme tragedy. Pay for their funeral costs like it’s your own funeral.
Find someone at the hospital and write them a check for their cancer care.
Honestly it sounds like you did something great and got frick you money with it. Buy some nice things but keep yourself busy giving back. There’s nothing like seeing someone truly in need smile. Or better yet not knowing how much you helped them but knowing it helped.

re: Border Patrol arrests 15 at Port of Lake Charles. How are illegals getting into a port?
Posted by tigereye58 on 12/6/25 at 10:16 am to stout
Used to know a guy that worked at the Port for the boarder patrol. He said their biggest issue was people coming in on ships and leaving and never coming back. Some would even jump off the ship and swim and they would apprehend them. This was 10 years ago but I’d imagine all of the foreign ships are still a problem. I was on a flight with 4 guys from Qutar this week. I racked my brain on where in LC these guys were going.
re: Any chance Bama fires DaBeer if he loses?

Considering no one thought we’d fire Kelly anything is possible.
So we sacrifice 2026 season for LK to coach OM Playoffs?
Posted by tigereye58 on 11/29/25 at 8:51 pm
That what everyone seems to be ready to do. He can’t recruit early signing period or transfer portal for US as another teams coach. He’s got to either come or not come. I’m not willing to sacrifice a season for him to coach a month. Playoffs are Dec 19-Jan 19 (championship not likely though so Jan 9th worst case scenario. Leaves 7 days to clear any portal recruiting. Legally he can’t contact recruits for us if he’s coaching them.
re: If Kiffin comes to LSU we should demand he cut ties and not coach OM
Posted by tigereye58 on 11/29/25 at 8:37 pm to TigerAttorney
Exactly. Let him stay and forever regret he didn’t come to LSU. He can forever rebuild his roster with a shortage of funds. Lane train starts now or not at all. You don’t get both.
If Kiffin comes to LSU we should demand he cut ties and not coach OM
Posted by tigereye58 on 11/29/25 at 8:35 pm
That’s a non negotiable for me. Either come or don’t. I get it the NCAA timeline sucks. But Kiffin isn’t worth all this crap. I’m ready to move one. He’s my #1 but not if he still wants to coach.

Where are all the Heupel guys at?
I’d take Dilly or Golesh right now for 8 mil and let Kiffin stay.

Dude paused between donuts to type the second half of the tweet. He’s been irrelevant for years.
re: It’s possible Kiffin is calling plays for the 2nd half from a cell phone in Oxford
Posted by tigereye58 on 11/29/25 at 5:15 pm to cleetus
I mean at this point it’s as likely as anything I’ve seen on here tonight. If he watched the first half he may have said I’ll take the job if you let me call the plays for the second half and see how it goes. Just as likely that didn’t happen but personally I believe it did. I mean how else could we possibly score?

Also not possible. Depends on if you think the ink is dry or not. But we did score AFTER the meeting ended and supposedly Kiffin is just waiting to tell the team.
re: Doomsday Scenario…
Posted by tigereye58 on 11/25/25 at 10:11 am to PurpleSingularity
That’s it doomsday at all. Dillingham or Golesh are the 2 best candidates anyway. I love Kiffin but we’re going to dramatically overpay for him. I would avoid anyone with Sexton as their agent.

re: Miller Sheets...Anyone know the story of why the kid signed with Baylor?
Posted by tigereye58 on 11/12/25 at 5:00 pm to geauxbrown
In state kids don’t matter anymore. They can fund 34 scholarships and don’t need TOPS to fund a few in state kids. That’s why we only took 1 in state kid. LSU can now go find the best kids across the country and offer full ride and NIL.
re: How many National Titles does Jay Johnson win at LSU?
Posted by tigereye58 on 11/10/25 at 6:12 pm to PSS101
Under. This 34 player roster limit is about to make the college baseball job the hardest to win at. One or 2 injuries to big time contributors and the season dramatically changes. Also evaluations of players will be crucial. Can’t miss on a pitcher.
re: A theory on the buyout and negotiating it down
Posted by tigereye58 on 10/26/25 at 5:29 pm to GeauxTime9
Yea. Brooks family got 2 procedural wins back in May and July. I think part of the negotiations will be LSU will continue to represent Kelly here if he agrees to lower buyout. Just a hunch. But only LSU and OLOL know how big of a problem this is. If it’s a problem for them it’s a problem for Kelly.
A theory on the buyout and negotiating it down
Posted by tigereye58 on 10/26/25 at 5:19 pm
The ongoing litigation against Brian Kelly and LSU will be used to negotiate Kelly’s buyout down. LSU has a pretty good idea of how strong the case is against them and if Kelly or staff are any bit negligent they have cause to fire him. Especially considering most of the other staff named in the suit have all been dismissed.

I got in a wreck in a Subaru Forester once. Totaled both vehicles. My airbags didn’t even come out and it felt like a bumper car. I was amazed at how that little car absorbed all of the collision and I didn’t feel much. They’re impressive in their safety. Perfect car for a daughter to drive.
re: 52% of US Schools have begun rolling out a new program called Equatable grading
Posted by tigereye58 on 10/7/25 at 4:45 pm to Placekicker
Take out the schools that are 80% minority or low income and those scores shoot up. In those schools 80% of the kids underperform. It’s not a school problem it’s a generational home problem.

Kidding of course. Anything normal is basically attacked.
