I haven’t been to the Four seasons there. My favorite is the Roosevelt and The Monteleone. The rooms themselves are great at either, but I like the property a lot.

I thoroughly enjoy the Roosevelt when I have to go to NOLA.
I find some of my favorite older hotels that are city landmarks have older smaller rooms but I still prefer to stay at those properties.

Four Season! I've lived or visited and stayed at almost every hotel in the FQ. I love getting out of it at night though.

Last time we were there (pre Covid) we stayed at the Westin at the top of Canal Place. Room was ok. View out over the river was nice, especially the huge windows in the lobby. Great location on the streetcar line and easy walk to the Quarter and river walk..

The Roosevelt is a great option, particularly if you have a good travel card like the Amex platinum.

This hotel sounds like Maison de la Luz. Corner of Camp and like Lafayette. Bar Marilou downstairs.

Loft 523?
I missed this when you posted right after I did, but someone quoted me today, and I got the notification. That is it Loft 523 on Gravier.

The new Copper Vine Inn is awesome. It is a small Inn above Copper Vine (next to Walkon's). Big rooms, great location, pretty reasonable.

Hotel Peter and Paul in the Marigny is relatively new and beautiful. Also, has one of the best bars, the Elysian. Easy walk to the FQ and the Bywater. Summer rates are about $160 a night.

My favorite is the Windsor Court. Four Seasons is also very nice. Those are the two standouts in my mind. Rooms at the Ritz are nice, but the atmosphere around the front door is not great.

Conde nast lists St Vincent and the 4 seasons as the best in the city.

We stayed at the Ritz last weekend and my wife is at the Four Seasons currently, she said the Four Seasons is much nicer. I haven't been, but she sent me a video of her room. It was much bigger than the room at the Ritz.
