re: Stranger Things S5 - Volume 2

It’s her effect on the story. She could be used in an interesting way but the motivation in how it relates to the bigger story is a waste. El even admits that she wasn’t looking for her. From a storytelling standpoint we were done with that character.

My major gripes from last night manly revolves around the misuse of time, storytelling and character use.

We had 4 episodes left going into last night. The amount of time we spend on characters just talking and not advancing the plot in any capacity is a gross misuse of time. The bits with Holly are probably the more interesting parts of the show right now. Yet we get stuck with massive amount of them just talking about side matters that have no impact on the main story. You don’t have time to waste yet it seems liked we wasted up to an hour of screen time on everyone’s emotional state.

The whole reintroduction of El’s sister and that new storyline is a waste. We moved on from her and that whole program story. Now bringing her back could have been interesting but her plot point being we gotta stop the government from creating more kids with powers is a waste. No one has been thinking about that for a few seasons and now that is going to be a drive force in El’s decision making going forward.

These were similar issues I had with GOT and they are showing back up. Hopefully the final episode regains its focus but I’m less optimistic about it now.
I had Gemini realign all of the programs into the 9 even conferences using a variety of different variables: academic levels, religious based, geographic location, names of rivalry games, etc. and it came up with some unique conference alignments. Told it to make sure to ensure that no one conference was so much stronger than others among other things.
I'm pot committed at this point to just see how this story all ends. The series has had its ups and downs, and the delay really affected it. The general premise was a good idea but I think its just running out of fuel at this point. Hopefully we get a solid ending at the end of all of this.
I’ve done it for the top 20 and it’s decently accurate at times. Last time I did it Kiffin took the LSU job.
I would be finding a way to lock him out of his own car.
Chicken was the one who made the final call to get rid of him

Closets I've been was at the TPC San Antonio on #16 on the Oaks Course, that par 3 with the bunker in the middle of it.

1 Day before my birthday and with my dad in the middle of July. Extremely hot on that day. Was playing 140 to the center and the hole was on the short left side just below the ridge that divides the hole. Hit a really high 9 iron and it dropped right over the top of the hole and on the ridge. We started watching it roll backwards and it came to rest 2" from the hole. Haven't been the close before or since.

When using my driver or woods to tee off, I'll wear my glove. Irons, wedges, and putter the glove goes away. My irons came with new grips and I feel comfortable swinging without having to wear a glove. Been doing this for years at this point.

Literally the first 2 movies that came to my mind.
Just got out of it. Like the appearance of it in the time frame. Thought everyone did a great job in their roles and the move had good pacing. Never got bored with it at any time. Solid 8-8.5/10.

The Quarry and The Bandit are some of my favorite places to play. Bandit is a little bit of a drive out in New Braunfels. Cedar Creek just went through an entire renovation, but I heard it's always packed. Golf Club of Texas usually has good rates, and they have been working on the course, the past few years. Canyon Springs is another good one.
I figured out that I wasn't going pro. For me golf is a chance to compete in a game that is purely about making myself better. Thats the way my dad taught me how to play. Most of my rounds are played with my dad and friends and it gives me time to spend with them doing stuff we enjoy doing. Of course I want to be as good as I can be, but its mainly about just playing a game I enjoy as much as possible.

St. Louis Blues. Only team my dad and I immediately agree upon. Hockey live is exponentially better than almost all sporting events.
