Play The Hay, pitch and putt designed by Tiger. Lot of fun. Incredible views.
I was told that the University of Texas was behind this.
As far as I am aware, Louisiana is out in front on this. This is one of the more innovative things the state has led the way on.
Dickie Brennans Steakhouse or Desi Vega. GW Fins also if you’re wanting seafood it has perfect side room.
I promise the people who are depopulating NOLA are not the ones responsible for the previously high levels of murders, nor is it the normal victims.
True, but this is historically low levels, below even pre-Covid. As some have noted, even the biggest of NOLA haters have to acknowledge these levels. Hopefully they stick for awhile.
Shootings are way down too, so that does not completely track.

Anyone ever attended a Ryder Cup?

I have the chance to buy some face value tickets for Bethpage for a day. Was thinking I’d do the Saturday team competition.

Anyone been? How was it? What’s best way to catch the most action?

Like I said, we stayed at the W Conchal Reserve last week. About an hour ride from the Liberia Airport. It was great.

Starting with the rooms- very nice and spacious. I would recommend Ocean View in Building 1, at least third flood. The view of the reserve and the ocean is incredible.

Two nice pools, one closer to the hotel lobby that is adults only. HAs a hot tub as well, and ton of chairs and a bar. The other is smaller and closer to the beach- kids welcome but we never saw a ton of kids.

We did the all inclusive, which was worth it for us. They pour real, non-watered down drinks with a good beer selection. Wine selection is week.

Breakfast is a buffet only but is awesome. Lunch at the beach pool is very good, and dinner at the Thai place very good as well.

The beach area was awesome- more of a cove between some low "mountains" leading out to the Pacific. Water was great and $40 dollar massages right on the beach which were great.

Highly recommend.

The new Copper Vine Inn is awesome. It is a small Inn above Copper Vine (next to Walkon's). Big rooms, great location, pretty reasonable.

Been to the Exumas a few times. Flew into Georgetown airport. Stayed in Hartswell. My favorite vacation.

Rented a house called casa Bella. There is a sandals there but i recommend a house and renting a boat to explore islands and sand bars that are completely empty. It’s incredible.
