I love W10. By far their best OS in some time in my experience.. though I don't have to administer it, I'm just a user of it.

That's bullshite....we upgraded our last laptop from 7 to 10 in 2018 and it was free.
Regardless if it's not free now I don't feel much pain anyone running any version of Windows that isn't 10....should have upgraded a long time ago.

maybe you should go find an old copy of DOS 3.1 and run that instead.
does apple not force you to upgrade? i have an iPad2 which i can't install any apps on including netflix and youtube because i'm told i must upgrade to a newer version of the system.
but Apple isn't forcing you right?

try using an ipad2 after installing thed current IOS and let me know that that works out for you.
