What's next for casual soccer fan?

My daughter just made a 9u semi travel team and we enjoyed watching the World Cup together. What are some good options moving forward to continue watching together. I guess looking for both an easy team to root for and a somewhat easy for us to access and watch the games on TV option.
Pick a Premier League Team or LaLiga team?

If all the games are weekend mornings, that's when the euro leagues play.
At that age I strictly watched international because those tournaments were during the summer when I wasn't playing.
Maybe MLS? Or just get peacock or espn+ and watch games on demand.

It's not the same, and if you watch it comparing to the men's game you'll be sorely disappointed. But both my girls really enjoyed watching it and it was another outlet for us to spend time together, and also a way for them to stay connected and even get motivated by what they were watching.

I would also suggest looking up local USL teams to follow. Tickets are quite cheap and I've personally had fun following the league.
With EPL, I just picked a team and started following them. I find most fans, here and elsewhere, will be more than happy to chat with newer fans.

Start by watching Champions League and/or Europa League, pick a team (or teams) that you enjoy watching. If that team sticks for you, then you can dive deeper into their domestic seasons and domestic cups.
Everyone here is going to say Premier League, but there is no shortage of quality teams/leagues beyond that and are just as easy to watch thanks to streaming.

EPL to me is the most exciting and readily available. I suggest not picking a team and just watch whoever is on. Then your not caught up wanting your team to win and can just enjoy the back and forth.
Bonus: Unlike the NFL or college, games are early so you can watch and still have your entire Sat/ Sun for whatever else.

Orlando City is all abuzz with the addition of Antoine Griezmann to the roster.
Lions have needed a spark and hopefully this will help OC to make a move toward the top.
Will still follow Liverpool and see how The Reds end up.

another rec for EPL as it is the most widely available and accessible international league. You can watch a lot of games just by having access to NBC and the Peacock app as well. As far as teams go, I would suggest just watching and somehow or another a team will pick you or you'll find one that you enjoy watching. Also look up local support clubs as well. A lot of the bigger clubs have them and can be a great time (assuming that local group is worth a damn).

I'm in the same boat, I've been watching some Bundesliga games and that environment is incredible, especially B Munich.

You can’t imagine right now how important this will be on her development.
My daughter became obsessed with it at that age and is playing in college now.
At that age it was clear which kids watched soccer away from the fields and those that didn’t.
She won’t understand positions or numbers and won’t be playing 11 v 11 for a few years but just watching the game and understanding what’s happening on the field is huge for her development and down the road.

Bayern Munich has a crappy atmosphere compared to many Bundesliga teams. Namely BvB(Dortmund)and the Great Yellow Wall.

Easiest to find a EPL team you will follow and encourage her to watch with you. But for helping your 9 yo daughter love and connect with the game...1) find the schedule and watch US women's friendlies, the women generally play more friendlies than mens teams do in non-tourney years, I think they are playing at least 12 matches this year. And 2) If possible take her on a trip to attend at least 1 pro match/year, MLS, NWSL, or USL should provide a ton of options. But go see a professional match in person, she will love it.
