Georgia defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann is reportedly among the potential candidates for Florida State's head coaching vacancy following the firing of Mike Norvell on Sunday.

According to ESPN, Schumann is an intriguing option for the Seminoles because of his experience working under Nick Saban at Alabama and Kirby Smart at Georgia.

The 36-year-old assistant has been at Georgia since 2016 and helped the Bulldogs win back-to-back national championships in 2021 and 2022.

Schumann, who has never been a head coach, is considered a rising name in coaching circles and has previously been linked to other vacancies.

Florida State has named Rick Stockstill its interim head coach while the school begins a national search for Norvell's replacement.
