We had every advantage possible, playing at home in the best environments. And here we are again, with a round of 16 loss. We don't have it and I don't think we will have enough talent to get any further any time soon either. Sad.

Agreed it was a letdown. But the World Cup overall has been fun as hell.hopefully it keeps that momentum

Agreed. We always lose in the R16. This was par, so it wasn’t successful.

This team is fricking soft. 2014 USA fought a much better Belgium team like true Americans.

We did what we always do, we needed to do more.

Hopefully we can start kicking arse in Concacaf the next four years and build some momentum back

I've enjoyed the rest of the games too. I'm team Norway now.

Shouldn’t be shocked a team ranked #16 finishes in the top 16.

In the end we lost in the same round we usually lose in, except by more goals than usual. And at home. Very deflating.

I don’t think our guys looked too good in 2014 against Belgium, outside of Jermaine Jones and Michael Bradley. The big difference of course was we had a world class goalkeeper instead of a scrub.

Losing in this round in a tight, hard-fought game would have made this a successful Cup. Unfortunately we played very poorly today.
