Spain get the result against Australia but they've only got one goal on the tournament. Not sure they'll have enough fire power for the title.

But this squad would win the gold cup

LMAOO

But for real probably half these dudes didn’t even want to play in this tournament

A bunch of their clubs tried to block the call ups

Women fail to score again and draw with Australia. They'll get it over Australia to the QF on GD.

Should be playing Netherlands next with either Canada or Brazil in semis.

We have to make massive lineup changes.

Morgan, Press, Rapinoe were terrible today.

The women don't want to admit that their 2 decades of success were really spurred by title 9 and very few countries until recently out effort into women's sports. Some major football countries still don't put any effort into women but when they do, the US will have a tough time getting to the finals. They'll probably always have an easier path than the men but they totally disrespect the difficulty of getting to the top on the men's side.

I keep telling people that when Europe decides it wants to take the women's game seriously, it will be bad for the USWNT. One thing Europe knows how to do is create soccer players.

I cannot believe there aren't better, younger options to what we have on the field. Seems like this team was put together as a farewell tour instead of a team that would compete for gold.

Vlatko has gone full tard. Terrible lineup and formations. The 4-2-4 was trash. The antithesis of what this team identity is. Morgan looked a little pissed at the bunker style of play to a draw style of play.

Team chemistry hasn’t been there, players out of position and against their strengths, and just sloppiness.

Rapinoe, Lloyd, and Tobin prolly shouldn’t have made the team.

Morgan scored and got fricked out of a goal on BS. Yea, no one usually catches her from behind like that on the break, but the feeds in to her weren’t and haven’t been great.

This was Press’ first meh game but Vlatkos stupid arse style for today was the problem.

They already have

If that match vs England wasn’t the final warning shot then I don’t know what is

Some of us had been saying here for a while

The league here will fall way behind now that major clubs are dumping resources into the ladies game

The girls over there being developed by high level coaches across the training pitch from their male counterparts

While girls here are playing travel and then college ball

The American domination of women’s football is coming to an end

Some of them probably saw the writing on the wall and is why they demanded equal pay, which we all know they already had

We went 16 years between World Cups. Not like this is new.

Maybe Rap shouldn't have thought she was smarter than Jill Ellis.

the French, German and Argentinian mens olympic teams all fail to advance to knockout round

Japan, Mexico, south korea, new zealand, Spain, Egypt, Brazil and Ivory Coast go thru

Japan beat France 4-0. The French gave up 4 goals to Mexico and Japan and 3 goals to South Africa.
