Transfermarkt ranked the teams based on their value. Spain tops the list at over 500 mil. Honduras is 5 mil lol.

I don't follow the Bundesliga much, but it is surprising to see just how poorly this German side is playing. They look completely lost.

I would assume this German squad is a U23 B/C squad

As is every other squad. Just saying these guys are playing much worse than what I expected from Germans/players in the Bundesliga. It is entirely too easy for Brazil this match.

France shite the bed. Hoping that isn't a sign Mexico has the strongest side.

Eh, as SCH said, they’re pretty bad players in that (so I may have been being nice saying they were a B/C squad)

Brazil has a combined 181 caps (every player with a cap)
Germany with a combined 25 and those coming from 4 players

Thats what I was getting at, asking the more informed on this board what kind of players these guys are from Germany. The commentators were saying barely any players were allowed by their club to participate in the Olympics, so I gathered these were kinda the dregs of the lot.

As far as Mexico, apparently they are the favorite, or at least one of for this tournament. I only caught some of their match against France. Mexico put it on them in the 2nd half.

Yea especially if they played in the U21 Euros or even regular Euros, they probably should be getting rest and time with their club
If i were a club I wouldn’t allow them either

Mexico is another team that’s mispriced at +3300 to +4000, and that’s mainly because of the big name (France) and host Japan in its group. But this Mexico team is deep and experienced — many of the players have played matches with the senior national team — and it has gamebreakers on the roster. If the Mexicans can get out of the group, they can get to a semifinal and will like their chances as overlooked underdogs if one of the powers get there (Spain, Argentina, Brazil or Germany).

They are already in the drivers seat of winning the group.

What I saw from Argentina was kinda underwhelming. They did get a completely bogus 2nd yellow early that ruined the match, but they were down at the time already.

France, same as above, very underwhelming, but Mexico took it to them.

Spain were more of the same from the Euros. They dominated possession, but just didn't have any goal scoring threat. I will say Egypt were pretty damn disciplined at the back, and made it tough for them.

And well we just saw Germany.

Lloyd and Rapinoe starting this one, and Rapinoe getting the captains armband. Ehhh

Announcers said the average age of this team today is 36, thats fookin old.

I thought it was just me earlier, I kept waiting for a better angle

Btw, this team sucks defending crosses coming in from the right. Someone is always open down the flank, and they can never mark the target in the box tight at all.

Arlo said it twice, 2nd being right before the second half kicked off. Did your app do the roster, and not the starting XI?

btw, I have absolutely no idea, just going by what he said. Which makes sense, because Lloyd, Rapinoe, Sauerbraun etc are all old.
